AIS INDUSTRIAL & CONSTRUCTION SUPPLY ~ 303-355-2391

Hall of Remembrance

This hall of remembrance is to honor those who poured their heart and soul into AIS Industrial and Construction Supply. These people made AIS what it is today and we will be forever greatful for their spirit.

Ron Allen

1957 – 2022

Ron was one of our employees that worked for us more than once. His first stint was from 1989 to 1996 and the 2nd was from 2005 until now. Ron had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laid back way of living life. We still to this day do not know if Ron really believed that the earth was flat or he was just pulling all of our legs! The flat earth bit tied in well with the misconception that he was grumpy, but we all knew he was not. Ron had the best wardrobe; he was always wearing an AIS t-shirt or hoodie from years gone by! We will all miss Ron very much, he was family.

Coby Christensen

1947 – 2022

A big guy with a big laugh and a kind heart. He worked for AIS for over 60 years (He started when he was 12!) He poured his heart and soul into the business that his Dad founded. It was a privilege to work beside him. He was also a heck of a golfer and was a member of Cherry Hills for many years where he carried an 8 handicap. He will be warmly remembered and greatly missed.

Arliss M. Whitaker

1930 – 2020

She always had a smile on her face and was known for her rhubarb and flowers and the baked goods she was always bringing in.Arliss worked with us full time from 1977 to 1997 when she retired. Since she couldn’t get enough of us she worked part time up until 2016. She will be remembered fondly by those of us who knew her.

Clara Neubauer

1925– 2016

Clara worked for AIS from 1960-62 and from 1969-2000.  A graduate of Central Business College in Denver Colorado where she studied secretarial functions and office machines Clara was hired by Paul J. Christensen our founder as a bookkeeper in 1960.  Clara was sharp as a tack and did not suffer fools lightly.  Dale remembers being trained by Clara and remembers with fondness her passion for accuracy in accounting.

Mark Green

1954– 2014

Mark was a gentle soul with a kind heart who blessed us all with his laidback personality. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his daughter Sami.

He worked in outside sales for us from 2011 to 2014 and was greatly loved by his customers and by all of us.
