Delivery Driver

Join the staff of the largest independent stocking industrial distributor in beautiful Colorado! AIS Industrial and Construction Supply, located in Denver, is looking for the right Delivery Driver to help it grow. As part of the AIS team, you’ll receive great training and benefits, plus the opportunity to earn rave reviews from our loyal customers.

As a Delivery Driver, you’ll distribute tools and materials from AIS’s central distribution center in Denver, promptly and safely to our customers’ warehouses and job sites throughout the state. You will represent the company in a professional and cost-effective manner as directed by the Warehouse Manager. AIS drivers complete deliveries in late model company trucks through some of the most incredible mountain scenery anywhere in the USA!

Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver, you will:

  • Deliver a wide variety of items to various addresses on different routes.
  • Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Inspect the vehicle at the start and end of each day.
  • Inspect orders to ensure all supplies are loaded properly for transit.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete logs and reports.
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Keep the vehicle clean through periodic washing.

Qualifications

Basic customer courtesy and protocol is required; however, training and onboarding programs are designed to support those who are relatively new to the industry.  AIS will teach you how to be great at your job!

Job Requirements

The ability and willingness to:

  • Lift more than 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Respond to a variety of customer needs and circumstances communicated to you by management.
  • Show up on-time daily.
  • Work Monday-Friday from 7:00am – 3:00pm.

    Skills and Abilities 

    • 18+
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Good driving record
    • High school diploma/GED
    • Authorized to work in the United States
    • Pleasant personality and demeanor working within a team environment

    Pay Range in Denver, CO

    • Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
    • Base salary or $16/hr – $19/hr

    Industrial Inside Counter Sales Representative

    As an Inside Counter Sales Representative, you’ll be selling Industrial MRO, Safety, and Construction supplies to walk-in customers, helping them access nationally branded products stocked in our Denver location.  AIS is proud to offer a vast selection of leading name brand products for sale; however, Sales Representatives at AIS provide superior product knowledge and service that larger stores can’t match.

    Responsibilities

    • Service walk-in customers with a friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful attitude.
    • Locate products quickly and source those that are not readily available.
    • Manage pricing and understand customer agreements and contracts.
    • Work together with Inside and Outside Sales Associates and other team members to ensure customers’ needs are being met.
    • Build relationships within a supportive team atmosphere.

    Qualifications

    Some industry experience is preferred; however, training and onboarding programs are designed to support those who are new to the industry.  AIS will teach you how to be great at your job!

    Job Requirements

    The ability and willingness to:

    • Understand products and their applications.
    • Respond to a variety of customer needs and circumstances.
    • Understand and use sales techniques to complete customer orders.
    • Physically retrieve a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies from shelves, storage areas or warehouse.
    • Learn about all aspects of the industrial MRO, safety, and construction business.
    • Work Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm.
    • Show up on-time daily.

      Industrial Tool Repair Technician

      As an Industrial Tool Repair Technician, you’ll be repairing industrial tools from some of the best brands in the business!  AIS is proud to offer a vast selection of leading name brand products for sale; however, this family-owned company also provides Tool Repair which keeps our busy customers up, running, and operational to do the jobs they’re contracted to do.  As a Factory Authorized Repair Center, AIS Industrial services power tools, diagnostics, air tools, torque wrenches, and utility hydraulics.  AIS is full service—it provides value to its customers, so its customers have a way to economically repair the high-quality tools they demand performance from each day.

      Responsibilities

      As a Tool Repair Technician, you will:

      • Have a good working knowledge of how tools work and the repair of them.
      • Be responsible for the evaluation and repair of power tools, diagnostics, air tools, torque wrenches, and utility hydraulics.
      • Troubleshoot tool failure – fully or partially disassembling units to examine components for wear/defects.
      • Evaluate what is not working on the tool, identify the parts required to fix the tool, and work with related staff in the business to order the right parts.
      • Repair and replace parts that are worn or defective.
      • Diagnostically check the tool to make sure the tool is operating properly.
      • Ensure units are repaired, tested for the quality of the repair, and cleaned prior to returning the tool to the contractor.
      • Test completed repairs to double check the quality of the repairs.
      • Make recommendations that ensure repaired tools returned to customers are maintained.
      • Be able to lift 50lb.
      • Keep a clean work area.

      Qualifications
